Walk, Run, Fly

Walk, Run, Fly

Founded a few decades ago at a much more modest scale, Westville ArtWalk now far outpaces its name. This year’s weeklong schedule featured parties, performances, open studios, a fashion show and a popup beer garden and culminated in a spirited all-day bonanza even rain couldn’t dampen, with an art market, pet parade, live performances, hands-on activities, a rubber duckie race and more.

So it’s more of an ArtRun, really, or maybe an ArtFly, at least if you’re going to try and see it all. The Westville Village Renaissance Alliance, the festival’s lead organizer, and neighborhood arts anchor Lotta Studio engaged a team of photographers whose goal was to do exactly that, in part so that those of us who didn’t make it can now enjoy this ArtSit—and be inspired to get out of our chairs next year.
