Terms of Service - Daily Nutmeg
1. Introduction
Welcome to Daily Nutmeg! Our services include a website and email newsletter that provide users with access to a range of content, including but not limited to articles. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (ToS). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Using Our Services
You must follow any policies made available to you within the Services. You may only use our services as permitted by law. We may suspend or stop providing our services if you do not comply with our terms or policies.
a. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Daily Nutmeg. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use our services.
b. Daily Nutmeg Accounts
You may need a Daily Nutmeg Account to access some of our services. You are responsible for safeguarding your account, and you must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
c. Content
Content on Daily Nutmeg is the intellectual property of Daily Nutmeg and its licensors. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, download, repost, copy, or use the content, whether in whole or in part, for commercial purposes or for personal gain, without express advance written permission from us.
3. Privacy and Copyright
Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share your data. By using our services, you agree that Daily Nutmeg can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies.
4. Your Content in Our Services
Some of our services may allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.
a. License
When you upload, submit, store, send, or receive content to or through our services, you give Daily Nutmeg (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations, or other changes we make so that your content works better with our services), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content.
5. Modifying and Terminating Our Services
We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a service altogether. You can stop using our services at any time, although we’ll be sorry to see you go. Daily Nutmeg may also stop providing services to you, or add or create new limits to our services at any time.
6. Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide our services using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care and we hope that you will enjoy using them. However, there are certain things that we do not promise about our services.
7. Liability for Our Services
Except where prohibited, Daily Nutmeg shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
8. About These Terms
We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our services. You should look at the terms regularly. We’ll post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. Changes will not apply retroactively and will become effective no sooner than fourteen days after they are posted.
9. Governing Law
All claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the services will be governed by the laws of the state of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Daily Nutmeg Membership & The Chaser Terms of Use

The Chaser™ and all related promotions, including the Chaser Trivia Contest, are benefits available exclusively to active Daily Nutmeg Members. By using The Chaser or participating in any related promotion, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Eligibility
The Chaser and all related benefits are available only to individuals with an active, paid Daily Nutmeg Membership in good standing. Membership must remain active at the time any benefit is redeemed or any prize is awarded.
Daily Nutmeg reserves the right to verify membership status at any time.
2. Ownership and Use
The Chaser booklet is issued solely for the use of the active member to whom it is assigned.
The Chaser:
- Is non-transferable;
- Has no cash value;
- May not be sold, shared, loaned, copied, reproduced, or distributed;
- Remains the property of Daily Nutmeg and may be revoked at any time for misuse.
3. Offer Redemption
Unless otherwise stated:
- Each offer may be redeemed once per member, per participating venue, per edition of The Chaser.
- A valid physical booklet must be presented at the time of redemption.
- Participating businesses may stamp, mark, or otherwise invalidate redeemed offers.
Offers may not be combined with other discounts, promotions, coupons, loyalty rewards, or special offers unless expressly permitted by the participating business.
4. Participating Businesses
Participating businesses are independently owned and operated.
Daily Nutmeg does not guarantee:
- The continued participation of any business;
- The availability of any specific menu item, product, or service;
- A business's hours, policies, or operations.
Businesses may refuse redemption if they believe these Terms have been violated.
5. Lost or Damaged Booklets
Lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged booklets generally cannot be replaced.
Any replacement is at the sole discretion of Daily Nutmeg.
6. Changes to Offers
Offers, participating businesses, and benefits may change, be substituted, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
No refunds, credits, or replacements will be provided due to changes in offers or participating venues.
7. Alcohol
Alcohol-related offers are available only to individuals 21 years of age or older and are subject to all applicable laws and venue policies.
Please drink responsibly.
8. Chaser Trivia Contest
The Chaser Trivia Contest is open only to active Daily Nutmeg Members in good standing.
By submitting an entry, participants agree that:
- Entries must be submitted in the manner and by the deadline specified by Daily Nutmeg.
- Limit one entry per member unless otherwise stated.
- Incomplete, fraudulent, or duplicate entries may be disqualified.
- Winners may be required to verify membership status and eligibility before receiving a prize.
- Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless expressly stated otherwise.
- If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stated timeframe, or is no longer an active member, Daily Nutmeg may select an alternate winner.
- Daily Nutmeg's decisions regarding the contest, eligibility, and winner selection are final.
By entering, participants grant Daily Nutmeg permission to use their name, likeness, hometown, and submitted responses for promotional purposes related to the contest without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Nutmeg and Natural Spring Ventures, LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising out of:
- Use of The Chaser;
- Redemption or attempted redemption of offers;
- Participation in the Trivia Contest;
- Products or services provided by participating businesses.
10. Termination and Revocation
Daily Nutmeg may revoke membership benefits, invalidate a Chaser booklet, disqualify contest entries, or deny participation to any person who:
- Violates these Terms;
- Uses The Chaser while not an active member;
- Attempts fraudulent redemption or contest entry;
- Reproduces or transfers The Chaser;
- Abuses participating businesses or staff.
11. Changes to These Terms
Daily Nutmeg may modify these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available at:
Continued use of The Chaser or participation in related promotions constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
