Twenty-five years ago today, terrorists attacked the United States. The country watched in horror as the Twin Towers fell and the Pentagon burned. Over Pennsylvania, the passengers and crew of Flight 93 made their final heroic stand.
Nearly 3,000 innocent people were murdered, including hundreds who died trying to save others.
Today, we’re looking at a flapping, unflappable American flag in East Haven.
And remembering.
