This Groundhog Day, we’re celebrating the groundhog’s more relatable relative: the gray squirrel.

Of course, like groundhogs, gray squirrels can be squirrelly. As they run, jump and climb through the canopy or bound across the ground, they tend to stop and start.
Personally, I’m a fan of both. The stopping is what makes them photographable, and the starting is what makes them so fun to watch.
