After 41 seasons, Pat Sajak’s final genial turn as the host of Wheel of Fortune airs this Friday.
In the spirit of the moment, we’ve generated several New Haven-themed word puzzles, styled after Wheel of Fortune’s bonus round, for you to solve.
Like contestants on the show, you’ll get the letters R, S, T, L, N and E filled in by default. Unlike on the show, you won’t get to choose three more consonants and a vowel. You will however get more time to solve and, just as crucially, more specific categories/hints to go with the overarching New Haven theme.
Like Pat Sajak, we’ve got prizes to hand out: three $50 gift cards to local restaurants of the winners’ choosing. The winners, in turn, will be chosen at random from the pool of readers who respond with the most correct answers by midnight tonight.
