Yoga In Our City, a nonprofit offshoot of ConnectiCare active in cities throughout the state, launches a five-month series of classes in local parks starting with a 5:30 p.m. session today in Scantlebury Park.

Disney’s last great hand-animated film, Lilo & Stitch (2002), is funny and moving and showing tonight at 8 in Pitkin Plaza.
A final week of events at The State House, which is closing to make way for a new residential development, begins with “The Final Smash,” a live-scored Super Smash Bros. tournament starting at 8:30. Then come four straight nights of live music, starting with Killer Kin, The Tines and Ángel Loor tomorrow and finishing Sunday with the last installment of the State House jam series The Jam.

From 6 to 10, Gather East Rock hosts an engaging- and experimental-sounding night of speed dating for singles in their 20s and 30s.

From 11 to 8 today and tomorrow and 11 to 7 Monday, the Connecticut Post Mall’s open-air Milford Food Truck Festival promises “top food trucks and craft vendors from across the state” as well as “bouncy houses, carnival games, train rides, face painting and much, much more.”
At 1 p.m. at the Shubert, the New Haven Ballet perform three works with help from friends: a fully staged, newly choreographed version of Coppélia, a “popular comedic ballet about a mechanical doll who is so lifelike that local villagers believe she is real”; Vivaldi Concerto, featuring the Pomegranates String Quartet; and the world premiere of Cavaliere Allegro, featuring the Neighborhood Music Premier Quartet.
Branford’s Blackstone Library hosts a 2 o’clock screening of something I, for one, have been meaning to see: Tár (2022). “Set in the international world of Western classical music, the film centers on Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors and the very first female director of a major German orchestra.”

Arriving between 8 a.m. and noon and possibly winning awards at 3, untold numbers of classic and specialized cars (up to 1990) are set to shine and shimmer at Quinnipiac University’s York Hill campus for the 27th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Car Show.
Two wreath-layings in New Haven mark Memorial Day: first, at 1 p.m. in Long Wharf’s Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park, and second, at 3 around the flagpole on the Green.
