This Week in New Haven (March 21 - 27)

Books, ballads and beers build to a Key limey, high-flying, catwalk-ing, fast-talking Saturday.

Monday, March 21
According to branch manager Diane Brown, the new Stetson Library, part of the new Q House (197 Dixwell Ave, New Haven), opens to the public at 10 a.m. Check it out if you can.

Tuesday, March 22
Madison-based bookstore RJ Julia presents two virtual book talks. The first, at 6:30 p.m., features best-selling novelist John Searles with celebrated actress Amy Ryanโ€”who starred in a film adaptation of Searlesโ€™s Strange But True (and also played Holly on The Office, among many other roles)โ€”discussing his new book Her Last Affair, a copy of which is included with the $27.99 ticket price and just might be signed (while supplies last). The second talk, which is free and starts at 7 p.m., features Yale business professor Barry Nalebuff discussing his new negotiation guide, Split the Pie: A Radical New Way to Negotiate.
