For his next Overnight Flight at Cafe Nine, DJ Shaki, with DJs Tim Daltrey, Suzi Sleeze and Stefan Christensen, presents a hard-hitting evening of “heavy metal, proto-metal, NWOBHM, thrash, speed metal, death metal, grindcore, black metal, glam, crossover and more” at 8 p.m.

At 7 in the Humanities Quadrangle, a Treasures from the Yale Film Archive screening of the dark Groundhog Day-style comedy Palm Springs (2020) promises a special guest: the film’s director, Max Barbakow, who graduated from Yale in 2011.
