How can it be, that New Haven’s December is so warm?
Answers: Climate change. El Niño. Even the “polar vortex,” which was last harsh winter’s bogeyman, is keeping the moment’s Arctic temps confined to the Arctic.
Despite its challenges, we’re pro-snow. It’s part of what makes the north the north, and what makes New Haven New Haven.
We might get some next week, according to weather reports. But in case we don’t, or even if we do, we thought it’d be nice to give you a vision of snow, taken last Christmas’s winter, and presented this.
Merry Christmas—
