Holiday music goes in four directions tonight. First up, at 5 p.m., is a live blend of pop, rock and classic rock during an hourlong, stay-in-your-car holiday concert by the Larry Stevens Band at Salt Meadow Park (1362 Boston Post Rd, Madison).

Second, at 6 p.m., is the drop of “Covidtorium,” a $10, time-limited, virtual reimagining of local stage stalwart Dean Falcone’s annual Thanksgiving Vomitorium show at Cafe Nine. The legendarily freewheeling concert, this time featuring a whopping 50 locally connected performers, is being paired with a screening of the Christmas-tastic documentary North Pole, NY (2018).

Next, at 6:45 p.m., is a holiday-themed installment of Mixtape Bingo at The Cellar (295 Treadwell St, Hamden; 203-390-5816). “Instead of balls with letters and numbers being called, your host plays a song,” organizers explain. “Match the songs with the squares on your bingo card. It’s that easy!” There are three rounds total, with bingo cards running $2 a pop or 6 for $10 and an extra card for anyone wearing an ugly/holiday sweater. FYI, patrons must order food and reservations are recommended.

Finally, at 7:30 p.m., Trinity Church on the Green’s annual Christmas Concert is going virtual as well. The show stars the Trinity Choir of Men and Boys, the Trinity Choir of Men and Girls and a program of “cherished carols” and “new classics.” Free.

Saturday, December 19
Harbor Lights, an annual “luminary event at Harbor Street and Branford Point extending through Parker Memorial Park,” kicks off at 4:30 p.m., with organizers reporting that there will be 2,700 lights in all—a 2.5-fold increase over last year. Note: “Social distancing applies to this drive/stroll event.”
