A New Day

W e could pledge to be better on February 1 or drop a bad habit on May 1 or party like it’s December 31 into the wee hours of August 1.

Instead, most of us save that stuff for January 1, a new day for a new way. And now that that new day has arrived, we say: Let’s make it count.
