Summer Reading

S ummer’s flying by, but you can slow it down with something good to read.

Over the next four weeks, we’re giving you ideas for just that. Instead of our usual mix of stories, expect deep-dives into compelling authors and oeuvres with deep ties to New Haven. Mondays, we’ll curate a list of great local events as usual, but Tuesdays through Fridays, we’ll profile such writers and excerpt their works.

Some of the authors—like an amateur historian from an old New Haven family—may ring familiar. Others—like a new novelist whose dystopic vision of the future centers on the Elm City—may not.

Keep an eye out Tuesday, August 2, for the first in the series, and, as always, don’t be shy about letting us know what you think.
